Mark began his career in the print and paper industry, spending much of his early working life at a major magazine printer in Essex. Over time, conversations with colleagues about mortgages, loans, and savings sparked a growing interest in personal finance. This curiosity led to a major career pivot: Mark became CeMAP-qualified and launched his journey as a mortgage broker in 2007. He later added the CeRER certification, further expanding his expertise into regulated equity release and is now a proud member of the Equity Release Council, meaning clients benefit from higher product and conduct standards, giving you greater confidence in what is often one of your biggest financial decisions.
Today, Mark provides advice on a broad spectrum of financial products, including standard and Buy-to-Let mortgages, later life lending, additional borrowing, and protection. His approach is rooted in experience, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others make confident financial decisions.
Outside of work, Mark lives in mid-Essex with his partner Jo. A devoted family man, he proudly navigates life surrounded by four daughters, two granddaughters, a grandson, and one loyal Labrador. A lifelong Formula One enthusiast since his first visit to Brands Hatch in 1978, Mark also enjoys keeping active with a weekly game of 5-a-side football and supporting his favourite team from the sidelines.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I felt immediately at ease with mark when talking about releasing equity from my house.
